Tifernum Metaurense

TIFERNUM METAURENSE (S. Angelo in Vado) Umbria, Italy.

A site mentioned only by Pliny (HN 3.114) but attested by several inscriptions. It is situated across an Apennine pass from Tifernum Tiberinum near the sources of the Metaurus. It belonged to the tribus Clustumina.
